A Louth Fianna Fáil TD says his party is looking forward to the annual Ard Fheis being held this weekend.
Fianna Fáil has outlined details of its 73rd Ard Fheis in Dublin this weekend, describing it as a significant moment in the renewal of the party. A large group of Fianna Fáil members from Co Louth are expected to travel to the RDS for the two day event which begins this Friday (3rd March).
Louth Fianna Fáil TD Seamus Kirk has said the Ard Fheis will give members a chance to have their voices heard about the future of Fianna Fáil.
“There has been a real sense of excitement among Fianna Fáil members across Co Louth about this Ard Fheis. This weekend will be a pivotal moment in Fianna Fáil history, as we seek to devolve more responsibility to party members than ever before. “The purpose of this Ard Fheis will be to reform the party so that our members have a greater role in the direction of Fianna Fáil into the future,” said Deputy Kirk.
