A new book published this week features some of the more bizarre stories from around Ireland including stories from the Dundalk Democrat.
‘Medium Sized Town - Fairly Big Story’ is written by Ronan Casey and includes a host of often hilarious from local newspapers.
Stories include such headlines as ‘Dogs in Mountmellick may soon be in nappies’, ‘Hole for Sale in Longford’ and ‘ Loo costs almost of much to run as town.”
TwoDundalk Democrat stories made the book: “Giant slugs invade Dundalk’ and ‘‘Relief as Kenny Jumper returned’.
A number of Irish stars lauded the book with praise.

The book came about after author Ronan Casey was involved with Ireland AM team on TV3, reviewing the regional newspapers every Thursday morning.The book is available in all good book shops and on from all major online retailers.
