Local amateur photographer Darran Rafferty has compiled a beautiful calendar for 2014 featuring the Navvy Bank.
The 2014 calender features twelve stunning shots of the Navvy Bank taken by Haggardstown man Darran, who works in the Dundalk Democrat, over the past year.
“A lot of people around Dundalk go for a walk or take their dogs to the Navvy Bank every day because of it’s natural beauty,” said Darran.
“So I thought people would appreciate a calender of some pictures depicting the area.
“Each shot is different and was taken during the month it represents.”
The Navvy Bank runs along the southern shore of the Castletown River as it flows to the sea through Dundalk Harbour.
The area has been popular with locals for years and joggers, runners, and dog walkers frequent the area every day and take in the scenic views including views of the Cooley Mountains.
Darran’s photography has been capturing the eyes of many for over a year now with some stunning shots of Dundalk in his collection.
