A new business opened it’s doors to the public last week in the Longwalk Shopping Centre.

Mr. Simm’s Olde Sweet Shoppe is a traditional old fashioned sweets shop, selling a fantastic range of old-school, retro sweets.

The store’s delicious and delectable collection of traditional and contemporary sweets and candy include all your favourites from cherry lips, coldsfoot rock, Uncle Joe’s mintballs, cough sweets and pear drops to Mr Sim’s specialist liquorice, a huge range of sugar free sweets and chocolate, shocking mega sours and fantastic pick and mix.

The opening of the store has also brought five full and part time jobs to Dundalk with more employment opportunities to come in the future.

Terry Dunne, store manager, was there for the official opening last Friday and is excited to expand the Mr. Simms brand.

“This is our 12th store in Ireland and we are delighted to be bringing our unique offering to the people of Dundalk.”

Elaine McGeough, Longwalk Shopping Centre Manager, commented: “We are delighted to welcome Mr. Simm’s to the Longwalk Shopping Centre.

“This store opening improves our retail mix and is a great asset to the centre.

“We wish them every success in Longwalk Shopping Centre.”

Make sure to pay the store a visit and pick up something truly scrumptious for you, your family and friends.
