Charged with passport offences

Three Chinese men appeared at Dundalk Court on Wednesday on charges relating to failure to register with immigration authorities and alleged passport offences.

Three Chinese men appeared at Dundalk Court on Wednesday on charges relating to failure to register with immigration authorities and alleged passport offences.

Kay Chen (25), with an address at Regent Place, Drogheda was charged with failure to produce registration documentation and/or a passport.

Le Li (30), same address, was charged with failure to produce a passport and remaining in the State after expiry of his visa.

Iuzhen Zhang (25), same address, was charged with failure to produce a valid visa and failure to produce registration documentation. All alleged offences were said to have occurred on February 12 last. Prosecution statements are to be supplied to the accused by May 8 and their cases were adjourned to May 22.
