Stage One New-musical Group (SONG) are currently rehearsing for their production of ‘Little Women’ The Broadway Musical which will be staged in An Tain Theatre from Wednesday 20 until Saturday, 23 November, nightly at 8pm.

Stage One New-musical Group (SONG) are currently rehearsing for their production of ‘Little Women’ The Broadway Musical which will be staged in An Tain Theatre from Wednesday 20 until Saturday, 23 November, nightly at 8pm.

Based on the infamous Louisa May Alcott Novel, this new musical features some fantastic music to compliment the beautiful story of the four March sisters.

This Musical will feature Sinead O’Callaghan, who won Best Female Singer at AIMS awards and who has travelled home from London to take part in the show. Sinead will play the role of Jo March.

Also returning to SONG is Nik Parks, who has just finished a 6 month tour in Spain. Nik is delighted to be back in Dundalk and will play the role of Laurie in the Show.

The other March sisters will be played by Leanna Carragher (Meg), Ciara Quigley (Beth) and Lisa Rose McMahon (Amy.)

Brendan Cleary will play the part of Professor Bhaer while Andrew Browne will play Mr Brooke and AIMS Nominated singer Jackie Winkless will be playing the role of Mr Laurence.

Jacqui Browne will play Marmee and Jane Stanley will play Aunt March.

AIMS Nominated Directors and Musical Director, Terese Dunne, Rosemary Winkless and Patrick Dunne have been working with the cast since early September and the production team includes Bobby White Set Design, Darren Kelleher Lighting Design, Vinny Osborne Sound Design, Bronwyn Walsh Costume Mistress and Paula Murray on Make up and Hair.
