Manager says rent investigation involves six cases
County manager Philomena Poole gave a brief statement to Louth county councillors on the investigation by Dundalk Town Council about rent collection irregularities.

County manager Philomena Poole gave a brief statement to Louth county councillors on the investigation by Dundalk Town Council about rent collection irregularities.

The irregularities took place in Dundalk between 2009 and 2012.

“Something every particular occurred and there were six cases involved”, the manager stated.

The investigation is ongoing and the gardai have been contacted.

She was answering a question from Cllr Edel Corrigan who said said further explanations are needed about controversy.
