Resident roving reporter Bernard O’Shea makes his highly anticipated return to The Spirit Store Dundalk this Saturday, October 12, where he returns to his first love, stand up.

Resident roving reporter Bernard O’Shea makes his highly anticipated return to The Spirit Store Dundalk this Saturday, October 12, where he returns to his first love, stand up.

Bernard recently hosted The RTÉ Two New Comedy Awards alongside Jennifer McGuire, in a nationwide search to find the best in new stand-up comedy talent.

O’Shea started out in entertainment at an early age playing traditional Irish music, touring Europe with several groups.

While at college he studied Theatre and went on to star in several theatrical productions.

He won the Harp Newcomer Comedy Award in 2000 and performed in the BBC Newcomer Awards the same year.

Bernard was chosen to perform at the Montreal Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in 2005 and is a regular at numerous comedy festivals including The Cat Laughs Comedy Festival in Kilkenny and The Vodafone Comedy Festival in Dublin.

His Edinburgh Fringe debut received a 5 star review from the Scotsman in 2008.
