Dundalk author Emma Carolan, who is originally from Dulargy Avenue, Muirhevnamor, is set to release her debut romance novel ‘Leap of Faith’ this week.

Emma, who works in the Dundalk call centre for eBay, is very passionate about writing and was delighted when a publishing company in Phoenix, Arizona called Creative Flight Publishing offered to publish her book.

The former O’Fiaich College student delves into a world filled with faith and love in her debut novel which tells the story of one woman’s struggle to find acceptance and conquer her fears.

Full of humor and compassion, Leap of Faith introduces readers to Katriona Warnock and Jason McCormick in a story of what happens when strangers eyes lock igniting a world of excitement and passion.

The result is a calamity of fear, heartbreaking truths, and the possibility of true love.

Katriona is a strong, independent work-a-holic struggling to let go of her past demons. She has spent the better part of her adult life trying to earn the money and power she’s been given.

Feeling unworthy she’s convinced herself that she doesn’t deserve to have a life outside of her company, or a loving relationship for that matter. Jason is a sexy, intelligent, shrewd businessman who grew up on the run and so Katriona must find a way to let her inhibitions go or she could lose the only man she has ever truly loved.

Emma’s novel will be available to purchase this Friday August 2 so make sure to grab a copy which showcases some of the great talent we have here in Dundalk. Emma is currently working book two of ‘Leap of Faith’ also so watch this space!
