DkIT will hold it’s annual Open Day on Friday, 8 November from 9am-3pm and Saturday, 9 November from 10am-1pm.

The Friday open day is an ideal opportunity for 6th years, 5th years, transition years as well as all prospective students, parents, teachers and guidance counsellors to visit the Institute, discover more about going to college, immerse themselves in campus life, meet lecturers and current students, and find out more about what programmes are on offer and the facilities which exist in DkIT.

The event is packed full of activities so it is recommended that people come early to get the most from their visit. On arrival everyone is asked to make their way to PJ Carrolls Building.

An open information morning will be held on Saturday is targeted towards mature students, people thinking of returning to education and/or prospective second level students and family members who are unable to attend Friday Open Day.

The open morning will consist of a series of talks, tours of the campus, course information sessions and an opportunity to meet lecturing staff.

Talks start at 10am, 11am and 12 noon in the Whitaker Lecture Theatre.

The Course information sessions will take place in the Muirhevna Building at 10.15am, 11.15am and 12.15pm.
