Fresh from the success of their recent pantomime ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’, Dundalk Musical Society are already putting the wheels in motion for their next offering.

The pantomime ran for six nights in An Tain Theatre and featured an amazing cast of local talent, with over 80 children and young adults taking to the stage as members of the chorus, whose singing and dancing enchanted audiences and transported them to the village of Happyville.

The production was over seen by writer and director Rob Murphy and was a great success and helped kick off the new year in Dundalk.

The society are currently putting together a concert entitled ‘An Evening with Lloyd Webber and Friends’ which will take place on Friday 3rd of May at 8pm in The Crowne Plaza Hotel.

Rehearsals are due to begin on Monday next the 11th of February in Dundalk Tennis Club.

The society would like to invite males and females of 16 years and over to come and join the ensemble for this production.

No audition or experience is necessary just a love of musical theatre and an interest in singing.

Newcomers are more then welcome and the musical society is looking forward to working on their new production which will inevitably be another success story for them.

Rehearsal times are:

Ladies Chorus from 7.30pm - 8.30pm and Men’s Chorus from 8.30pm to 9.30pm.
