Togher Theatre Group present ‘A Christmas Carol’

Join the group as they present Dicken’s time honoured tale of the mean-spirited Ebenezer Scrooge and the colourful journey that leads him to find the Christmas spirit and love his fellow man.

It promises to be an enchanting treat for all the family, young or old.

This festive tale will take place on Thursday 29, Friday 30 November and Saturday 1 December in the hall in St. Mary’s, Drumcar.

The shows start at 7pm and tickets are available from Carron’s of Togher, Togher Cross and O’Neill’s shop in Annagassan. Adult tickets cost 10 euro and child tickets cost 5 euro.

The group formed in September 2009 and this will be their fifth production.

The local group have a variety of theatrical interests and talents and have produced three pantomimes and one comedy to date, including Cinderella, Off the Hook, Snow White and Jack & the Beanstalk.

They hope to enjoy the same success with their musical endeavour as they have had with their past productions.

The group is very well supported in the locality and beyond, comprising as it does of Togher’s finest as well as the best talent the surrounding parishes have to offer.
