Lots of Christmas events happening in Carlingford this December

This years Christmas Festivities event will be on Sunday 9th December between 12noon and 5pm with a celebration of everything Carlingford and the surrounding area has to offer during the festive season.

With Santa’s grotto for the kids and a chance to purchase some last minute Christmas gifts, it will be a day to remember!

This year we will be showcasing local businesses and crafts people such as Pearl Beauty, McArdles Boutique, Carlingford Drift, Celtic Lasers, Heavenly Cakes, Petals Omeath, Crystal & Pearl Crafts and Tivole Jewellery alongside Santa’s grotto, wine tasting with WinesDirect and live festive music.

There is also a fantastic opportunity to get some cookery tips as our multi-award winning chef will be conducting a deliciously festive Christmas cookery demonstration at 1pm.

There is a 15 euro charge for the Christmas Cookery Demonstration and proceeds will be donated to local causes.

It’s a great opportunity to see how Christmas is done in a professional kitchen.

The Féile Mí na Nollaig Cairlinn is also coming to Carlingford from November 30 - December 2.

Enjoy a weekend of the Christmas festivities including the Christmas Craft and Food Fair and the Carlingford Choral Festival with performances throughout the town and even on the mountainside.

There will also be a disco, face-painting and various other activities and entertainment for the kids.

Join everyone in Carlingford on Sunday, from 2.30pm – 5.00pm and visit Santa Claus, there’ll be little surprises for the children.

Why not have your photo taken with him, prints available on the day and profits go to local charities.

Enjoy hot chocolate, mulled wine and Christmas Fayre while choirs will perform your favourite Christmas carols on the medieval streets.

Christmas Tree lights will be turned on at 5.00pm by Louth Rose, Patricia Marmion and Carlingford Oyster Pearl, Erin O’Connor.
