Ceoltóiri Lu are curated by the producers of the renowned St Patricks Eve Concert, this stellar line up includes some the finest award winning young traditional musicians in Dundalk, and promises to be a rousing celebration of traditional music.

So bring your dancing shoes and step out at the Square, there is plenty of room for a jig or a reel, don’t miss this chance to catch some great tunes, tap the granite, and bow to the sun (he is up there somewhere).

The young musicians have already performed at the square two weeks ago and they played a blistering gig which the Dundalk folk gathered at the Square responded well to. Some of the crowd even got up and danced a few jigs and sets much to the delight of Ceoltóiri Lu.

Last week it was the turn of The Magic Flutes to play and they performed a fantastic set.

They are a vibrant new ensemble who are all pupils of music teacher Clare Wallace.

They enthralled with their unique and sparkling arrangements of musical gems by Vivaldi, Handel, and other well known composers.

The final concert with will take place on Friday August 24th at 1pm. All welcome.
