‘The Trilogy’, a white collar boxing event is to take place this Saturday night in Ardee Parish Centre

The event was put together by Mark McCormack who has put an amazing amount of effort and dedication into arranging everything.

so far Mark and the fighters participating have managed to raise an astonishing 6,000 euro and are delighted with support they have received.

The first fight of the night kicks off at 7pm and there will be 17-18 fights all together with a total of 38 competitiors taking part.

After the fight there will be an after-party in Luna who are one of the many generous sponsors of the event.

All the newly trained white collar boxers are currently anxiously undergoing last minute preparations before they take to the ring for their moment of glory.

Fighters on the night include Bernard “The Beast” Gonnelly, Colin “The Gooch” Walsh, Erica “Tough Enough” Duff, Yvonne “The Bull” Commins, Ann-Marie McShane O’Connell, Lauren “The Spark” Clark, Ciaran McCague, Shane Gosling, Gerry Curtis, Kevin Monaghan, Kevin McKeever, Danny Farrell, brothers Cathal and Shane Corrigan, Kevin Halpenny (Who is Jamie’s cousin and hasn’t missed one training session) and Emma Conlon who plays for Louth GAA and has to be in Carlow the next day for the Leinster Final!
