Worklink runs successful CV Clinic for jobseekers

The CV Clinic is the first in a series of career coaching events planned by Worklink, a not-for-profit employment support organisation which is led by professional volunteers, and has been formed to assist unemployed jobseekers successfully transition into full employment.

At the CV Clinic, Worklink’s career coaches offered jobseekers 30 minute one-to-one CV consultations and in every case the quality of coaching was rated excellent by the participants.

Jobseekers were also invited to indicate which career advice services they would like Worklink to provide in the future with Interview Preparation and Mock Interviews scoring highly.

A representative from the Department of Social Protection provided information at the event on their range of supports and information sources for jobseekers.

Information on training programs commencing in January was provided by the FAS representative present.

There was also information available on courses delivered by DKIT and O’Fiaich Institute of Further Education.

Worklink Partners would like to thank the volunteer coaches for their fantastic input; the DSP and FAS for their services on the day; O’Fiaich College for providing the venue and Servisource for their on-going support.
