DkIT students win awards at CPA Ireland prize giving

Eight students from Dundalk Institute of Technology (DkIT) have been awarded for excellence in their course assignments by CPA Ireland

Eight students from Dundalk Institute of Technology (DkIT) have been awarded for excellence in their course assignments by CPA Ireland

Gary Mulligan, Zhao Meng Tian and Laura Wynne were the winning team for their research essay on ‘The current state of Sean Quinn and his empire’, with Laura also coming in joint first place with Fintan Dullaghan in the individual speakers’ category.

The winning team in the debates section included Robert Bowens, Anna Clarke, Paul Martin and Hu Na, who opposed the motion ‘It is incumbent on government to bail out struggling mortgages’.

Hu Na was also the runner-up in the individual speaker category.
