LOUTH & Proud 2010, the official yearbook of the Louth County Board, is now on sale with a series of launch events planned in both Dundalk and Drogheda on Saturday December 11 to mark the occasion.
Members of the county football, hurling and ladies teams will be on hand at a series of venues in both of the county's two main towns throughout the day on Saturday where they will be signing copies of the book for fans of all ages.
Amongst those confirmed to attend the official launch are manager Peter Fitzpatrick, Leinster final goal hero JP Rooney and All Star winner and captain Paddy Keenan.
Louth & Proud 2010 was produced by The Dundalk Democrat, who have been covering GAA in the Wee County from the very beginning, and printed by Anglo Printers in Drogheda with proceeds from the book going back to the County Board.
Keeping the project entirely based in County Louth, it was also sponsored by the award-winning Cooley Distillery, meaning all areas of the county were represented in the yearbook's make-up.
With over 400 pages of content, Louth & Proud 2010 features a comprehensive round-up of the fortunes of all 42 clubs in the county over the last 12 months, exclusive interviews with the likes of All Star winner Paddy Keenan and County Board chairman Padraic O'Connor and a not-to-be-missed competition for a member of each club in the county to have their boots personalised by local company, My Boot.
Signings will take place in Dundalk on Saturday at Carroll's Book Shop in Park Street from 10am to 11.30am, Hughes and Hughes in Clanbrassil Street from 12 Noon to 1.30pm and Eason's in the Marshes Shopping Centre from 2pm to 3.30pm.
In Drogheda signings will also take place from 12 Noon to 1.30pm in both Easons in the Laurence Town Centre and Healy's Daybreak in West Street.
For a chance to have the ultimate momento to the GAA year signed by the players that made it such a season to remember, visit any of the signings on the day and support Louth GAA in the process.
