A DANCE show organised by a Dundalk woman, which was postponed due to the recent bad weather, is back on.

The 'Don't Stop the Music' show was due to take place last month, but couldn't go ahead as planned due to the Big Freeze.

Directed and produced by Lisa McKenna, the show is now taking place on Friday, January 14 and Saturday, January 15.

All of the tickets that were sold for the pre-Christmas show are still valid for the January dates.

Young performers from the Dance-a-Licious stage school are promising to put on their most entertaining show to date.

It will be held in St Mary's Hall in Cooley and features a cast ranging in age from four to 20-years-old.

The show has been coreographed by Kylan Ross and Margaret Hanlon, who were assisted by Annie and Kate Finnegan.

According to the organisers, audiences at last year's show were "amazed" and this show promises to be even better.

The young cast will perform excerpts from The Little Mermaid, The Lion King and Mama Mia as well as hip-hop and modern dance.

Doors are due to open at 7.30pm and the show will start at 8pm. Tickets cost e10 and are available from St Mary's Hall, Cooley on Saturdays and Tuesdays. For further information contact Lisa on 087-4101133 or Maria on 087-1312406.
