The Migraine Association of Ireland (MAI) is set to host an information evening in Dundalk as part of an awareness campaign.

The campaign, which is aimed at Louth's 16,000 migraine sufferers, kicks off on Wednesday, January 19 with MAI staff setting up information stands around the county.

A stand will be set up at Boots Pharmacy in The Marshes Shopping Centre from 2pm to 4pm. The information event will take place in the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Dundalk later that evening at 7.30pm.

"Our seminars are an ideal opportunity for sufferers to learn how to better manage and control their migraine," said Donna Ryan, MAI Information Officer.

"However, we also encourage those who live, work and deal with migraineurs on a regular basis to attend - employers, health professionals, teachers, family and friends."

There is no charge to attend the seminar. To make a booking telephone 1850-200-378 or email: info@migraine.ie.
