Lanney’s SuperValu Ardee were recently presented with the Excellence Ireland National Hygiene and Food Safety certificate, by Martin Kelleher, Managing Director, SuperValu and Irene Collins, Managing Director, Excellence Ireland Quality Association (EIQA) at the 2013 SuperValu Quality Awards ceremony held in Killarney.
All the staff in the Ardee supermarket were delighted to achieve this highly prestigious award.
The Excellence Ireland National Hygiene and Food Safety certificate is an independent verification of the highest standards of operational hygiene and food safety in the food sector business.
2013 saw a record number of SuperValu stores throughout Ireland receive Excellence Ireland Hygiene and Food Safety Certificates, with no fewer than 192 stores receiving the prestigious quality award.
Year-on-year these entrepreneurial food retailers continue to push out the boundaries of excellence, with 128 of these 192 SuperValu stores receiving the much sought after Supreme Hygiene Award.
