REPORT: Louth has one of the highest homelessness figures in country

According to a new report by Irish Country Living, which is a weekly supplement as part of the Irish Farmers Journal, Louth had 137 adults who accessed homelessness services during a single week in October this year.

Louth had the fifth highest number in the entire country, after only Dublin (3536), Limerick (312), Cork (282) and Galway (191).

The figures were compiled during the week of October 23rd - 29th.

The report showed that there were 5298 adults in total in the country who availed of homeless services during that week.

Only Leitrim and Roscommon reported no homeless adults during that week.
