Fire service called out to blaze at Dundalk home

Dundalk fire fighters were called to the scene of an extensive house fire at a home in Riverside Drive, Red Barns Road, Dundalk early this morning.

Luckily the occupants of the home, a family, managed to escape from the blaze just as the fire service arrived on the scene.

The fire is believed to have occurred at around 2am early this morning with the house badly damaged by the blaze.
