Geraldine's school of drama presents 'A day in the life'

GSD / Eloquence senior end of year performance will be presented to family, friends and the general public this week in An Tain Arts centre.

“A day in Time” is an original piece of theatre scripted and directed by Geraldine Kieran with co- direction from the fantastic Pat Mc Kenna.

This project started with a blank page in January 2016. The aim was to engage with the students to discover their own views on history, the 1916 rising and general thoughts on the actions of those who fought and died during this period in history.

“A day in time” is the result of these drama workshops.

“We are very proud of this production. It’s something very different for the students to perform. The piece has great depth and meaning in it which is very different from many of our previous performances. This academic year was all about raising the standard of performance and improving the quality of acting. I think this year the students have really stepped up.” Said Geraldine Kieran

The show will be performed in the small theatre space in An Tain arts centre on May 19th & 20th. Tickets available from An Tain box office.
