1- JuiceBox Comedy Club

Paul Currie is to headline the JuiceBox Comedy Club this Friday in the Spirit Store with other special guests. Currie is described as one of the most unique and downright bizarre acts you will ever witness. He will be supported on the night by Tomie James, Eve Darcy, Martin Angolo and Keith Fox. Aidan Shields will be hosting the event that begins at 8PM. Entry is five euro.

2-Business to Consumer Expo in the Marshes Shopping Centre

Dundalk Chamber of Commerce is to host a Business to Consumer Expo in the Marshes Shopping Centre on Friday from 10am to 5pm.The event is being run in association with Bank of Ireland and the Local Enterprise Office. It will showcase some of the area’s finest businesses

The event is free to attend with over 60 companies set to exhibit their products and services on the day.

3- Michael Collin’s “The Big Fellow”

Having recently received its world premiere “The Big Fellow”, is coming to An Táin Arts Centre this Saturday in Dundalk. The play is based on Frank O’Connor’s biography of Michael Collins.The play presents the story of Michael Collins: his rise from unknown volunteer in the GPO to military leader who brought down an empire only to meet his untimely death at the hands of former comrades. 4- Junior Scratch Club:

The Junior Scratch Club is to be staged this Saturday in Dundalk Golf Club sponsored by DAR Golf Contruction Ltd. The 36 hole competition for those with handicaps between 5 and 9 will be played over the remodelled course which has seen extensive work carried out over the past 18 months. The work includes new bunkering on all greens and new fairway bunkering on the front nine. Anyone interested in taking in this Saturday’s Junior Scratch Cup should contact Leslie in the Pro Shop.
