Marie McAnnallen (24) is the front runner with a superb score of 69. She is closely followed by Ailish McCartan (7) on 70 and Kay McCartan (7) on 71.
There are three 74s in also from Marian Mullen, Deirdre Fearon and Lady President Margaret Hanley. The 2nd round takes place on Saturday July 28 with play commencing at 11.30am and the 15 leaders commencing at 2.30pm. Check BRS for information. The Senior foursomes team reached the Leinster semi finals recently at Charlesland Golf Club. After qualifying out of Skerries in mid-June, they travelled to Charlesland Golf Club in Wicklow for the matchplay stages two weeks ago.
They beat Craddockstown and went on to beat a very surprised Dun Laoghaire before falling to a strong Hermitage team. Team was captained by Mary P Kirk and players were - Ailish McCartan, Mary McGoey, Emily McGuinness, Antoinette Shields, Kay McCartan, Angela McParland and Celine Griffin.
The Ladies Open Singles Stableford sponsored by Physio Ireland Clinic, Quayside, Mill Street, Dundalk which was rained off the first time around has been rescheduled for Monday August 13 and booking is online.
