At a meeting of the Leinster Council last night (Wednesday) Louth Senior champions St Patrick’s were informed that they must play their Leinster Club Championship match against Sarsfields of Kildare down in Newbridge next Sunday (November 11).

Originally the Lordship side were meant to have home advantage, however the Council upheld the original ban from last year in which St Patrick’s were banned from having home advantage for a period of 12 months, due to an incident after their match in Portlaoise.

St Patrick’s sought clarification on Wednesday night as they were unsure if the ban still stood.
