Season of glory set to continue for O’Connell’s

O’Connell’s reached their fourth adult final of the season with a nine point victory over the O’Mahonys in Darver on Tuesday night in the Division 4B semi final.

O’Connell’s reached their fourth adult final of the season with a nine point victory over the O’Mahonys in Darver on Tuesday night in the Division 4B semi final.

Playing against the breeze in the first half the Bellingham side were in front at the break 1-9 to 0-7, the goal coming from Emmett Byrne.

O’Connell’s maintained their lead all through the second half thanks to a string of fine saves from their keeper Sean Connolly.

The Bellingham side will now meet Naomh Mairtin in the final.
