Print and copy systems supplier Cusken Ltd have announced their ground breaking achievement of becoming one of Ireland’s first Carbon Zero businesses.
Now working with leading international carbon specialist co2balance, Cusken have established the full carbon emissions impact of their business by measuring their energy usage over a twelve month period.
Since 2009 Cusken Ltd have been supplying Toshiba Multifunction Products (MFPs) to their customers, which have also been assessed and offset in this way, giving Cusken Ltd and their clients the benefit of ‘Positive Printing and Copying’ within their own business.
“We are delighted with becoming one of the first Irish companies to become carbon zero,” said sales director Paddy McCusker. “Climate change is one of the largest social and political challenges the world faces in the 21st century and offsetting all, or just a portion, of your carbon output as part of your environmental plan makes a measurable difference to the global environment.”
