A cycle from Dunleer to Kilkenny for the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Assocation rasied over E12,000. The cheque was presentated at the Dunleer Inn.
Paul Lannon, originally from Kilkenny, his wife Sandra, and a team of local cyclists made the round trip. Paul was diagnosed with motor neurons disease at the age of 40. The 27 cyclists went from Dunleer to Kilkenny on 25 May returning on the 26th raising the money in 24 hours.
