For most of us dining out is a must. No matter how tight our household budget, the feel-good factor created by enjoying a meal in a restaurant is well worth the money.

Fuchsia House Ardee has a fantastic reputation for superb food at sensible prices. Proprietors, Sarajit Chanda and Sarah Nic Lochlainn have decided to make dining out even more accessible by allowing diners to bring their own beverages.

The enterprising couple of Dragons’ Den fame recognise that their greatest strength is Sarajit wonderful food.

“I love cooking for our diners” says chef Sarajit, “I get great satisfaction from seeing people enjoy their food”.

“It has come to our attention that the price of beverages (VAT 23%) is a deterrent to eating out” says Sarah.

“What a pity! We encourage our diners to come to Fuchsia House and bring their own beverages.”

Sarajit and Sarah met while working in Sydney where BYO restaurants who charge a small corkage fee are very common.

They are really looking forward to bringing this fun concept to Ardee.
