A super day was had by all at the Dunleer AC Four Mile Road Race on Sunday July 14 which celebrated the contribution of former club stalwarts Ollie Brennan and Seán Carrie.

A super day was had by all at the Dunleer AC Four Mile Road Race on Sunday July 14 which celebrated the contribution of former club stalwarts Ollie Brennan and Seán Carrie.

Senior ladies winner Fiona Roche broke the old course record to finish the four mile ladies section in 22.17 mins. The men’s winner was Mark Hoey once again, retaining his title in style in 19.55 from 2nd placed Carl Dunne (Dunleer AC) 20.09 and in 3rd place Eoin Callaghan (Dunboyne AC) 20.46.

In the junior section Ciarán Connaughton Dunleer AC was first home with Jack Boylan of Dunleer AC in 2nd and Cesar Luig Velasco Cedeno (Drogheda & District) 3rd.

In the junior ladies Dunleer AC’s Aoife Fay was first lady home, Emma Fay Dunleer AC was 2nd junior lady, with Eimear Murray from Team Carrie in 3rd.
