Geraldine’s School of Speech and Drama is delighted to announce a fantastic line up of creative, dramatic fun this summer with three workshops available for kids of all ages.
The school has had a superb year following their successful exams through Leinster School of music and drama.
The school plans to finish off this academic year with a fun end of term showcase.
This summer the school will host the first workshop “From Page to Stage” from July 7th to July 11th, from 10am-1pm for 5-8 year olds and 2-5pm for ages nine and over. The workshop will focus on creating a small theatre show.
“Express Yourself” workshop will take place July 28th –Aug 1st and will follow the same timetable as the first workshop. The workshop will involve creative drama, movement, mime, improvisation and dance.
The cost is €60 per chld with a €20 deposit to secure your booking and both courses will be held in Blackrock Community Centre.
There will also be a “Voice and Expression” course from July 14th –July 18th in Creative Spark, Dundalk.
“Each course will focus on developing the student’s imagination and creative thinking.
“I’m excited about these workshops, it’s great to be able to provide quality activities for kids over the summer months, it’s also a great opportunity for students to continue developing their drama skills,” said teacher Geraldine Kieran.
