A showcase of selected films created since the advent of the BA & BA (Hons) in Video & Film Production will take place on the outdoor screen at Market Square, Dundalk on Saturday, June 16 from 7pm to 9pm as part of the Tain Summer Festival.

The two hour session of short fiction films and documentaries will showcase the outstanding variety and quality of what has been produced on the BA & BA(Hons) in Video & Film Production since the course began in 2005.

The course (www.dkit.ie/film) has been running for seven years in DkIT, producing award-winning short films and documentaries that have been screened in festivals both across Ireland and worldwide.

Situated in the newly renovated PJ Carrolls building, students enjoy a selection of top-class facilities, including a TV studio, edit suites, a radio studio, a purpose-built screening room, a darkroom and audio labs.
