TWO sisters who are local dance teachers and choreographers of Crystal Ice Dance Academy are to represent Ireland in the 2012 World HipHop Dance Championship.

Emmanuella and Anita Salako from the Avenue Road, Dundalk will be competing in the HipHop Championship with their Dublin-based crew ‘So Little Crew’.

‘So Little Crew’ battled it out against tough competition in Dublin at the Irish HipHop Dance Championship and then qualified to represent Ireland in the World HipHop Dance Championship.

The 2012 World HipHop Dance Championship is due to take place in Las Vegas. Emmanella, Anita and ‘So Little Crew’ are now seeking sponsorship to help them raise the travel funds for the competition.

“We want to reach out to primary and secondary schools to teach dance workshops or fun days,” said Emmanuella.

“So Little Crew is a very hard working crew and we are going to represent Ireland very well in Vegas.”

For more information about the competition contact Emmanuella on 086-1787884.
