THE internationally acclaimed musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is set to explode onto the Tain Theatre stage from March 29 to April 1.
The award-winning group S.O.N.G. will present this youth production for three evening performances and a matinee performance on Sunday, April 1.
Featuring a cast of 55 young people aged ten and upwards, this promises to be a show not to be missed, according to the organisers.
Noted for its family-friendly storyline, universal themes and catchy music, Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s spectacular Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat has been delighting audiences worldwide for over 40 years.
“In these challenging economic times we thought this lighthearted, fun, and enchanting musical would be a terrific antidote...,” said Terese Dunne, Director of Joseph.
“We have an amazing cast lined up including Kylan Ross in the title role of Joseph and Claire O’Brien as the rock ‘n’ roll narrator. Playing the role of the Rock ‘n’ Roll Pharaoh is Daire Stanley...”
The 11 ‘brothers’ include Cathal Grennan, Cormac Todd, Barry Dunne, Ronan O’Shea, Aisling McCabe, Leann Carroll, Saoirse Kelly, Orna Doohan, Megan Crilly, Ben Murphy and Harry Todd.
