EUROVISION pop duo Jedward helped to turn a Dundalk teenager’s dream of meeting her favourite band into reality on their new television show.

Sixteen-year-old Lynsey Reilly is to appear in the first episode of the new ten-part RTE television series titled OMG Jedward’s Dream Factory.

Lynsey dreamed of meeting her all time favourite band, The Saturdays and wrote to Jedward and the show’s producers for their help.

The pop duo granted her wish by arranging for Lynsey to meet with Una, Mollie, Frankie, Vanessa and Rochelle of top girl band The Saturdays.

According to Lynsey, she loved every minute of it. If that wasn’t enough, the Dundalk teenager was given a surprise makeover worthy of any pop star by top stylist Sonya Lennon.

OMG Jedward’s Dream Factory starts on Christmas Day at 11am, and plays out all over Christmas at 11am, with repeats at tea-time.

The ten-part series sees the brothers, John and Edward Grimes, aim to fulfil the dreams of eight to 16-year-olds from all over the country.

The series is built around the concept of a 1970′s British show called ‘Jim’ll Fix It,’ where children got their wishes granted by good old Jim.

Throughout the series Jedward will be granting young people’s everyday wishes like playing football with their favorite team and going shopping with their favorite pop star.

“We’re so excited about our new TV show on RTÉ, it’s going to be so cool. We’re living our dream and now we get to make our fans’ dreams come true too,” they told RTÉ.

The duo’s second album, Victory, features 12 tracks.
