LMFM is celebrating 22 years of broadcasting in the North East by joining forces with Dundalk Stadium to mark the station’s birthday on Sunday, September 4.

The event is due to begin at 2.35pm with the first of 7 horse races followed by greyhound racing from 6.30pm. Aside from the thrilling race experience, guests will have the opportunity to meet their favourite LMFM presenters.

There will also be a host of competitions with plenty of prizes to be won on the day; and the kids will be kept amused in the kids interactive corner with face painting, bouncing castles, pony rides and a kids disco from 5.30pm to 6.30.

The Sunday Sport Show will broadcast live from the Stadium on the afternoon of Sunday, September 4 with special guests such as Joe Sheridan, Peter Fitzpatrick, Hurler Stephen Clinch, Cathal Dervan (freelance journalist, formerly of the Irish Star) and Jim Glennon. The panel will be available throughout the afternoon to answer questions from those attending the race meeting. LMFM’s very own Andy Clarke will be entertaining after greyhound racing from 8pm with a ‘Music Mix’ for those wishing to stay on and finish off their race day experience.

Tune into LMFM this week to secure one of the many FREE invites or simply pay at the turnstiles on Sunday, September 4. Admission is e15 per person with kids under 14 admitted for free (concessions available).
