It was a big day for Dundalk soccer as FAI Chief Executive John Delaney officially opened the all-weather facilties at Bellew Park.
Along with that, Mr Delaney was down to officially oversee the Republic of Ireland Under 16 clash with the Czech Republic at Sandy Lane in Blackrock.

Towards the end of his presentation in the Crowne Plaza, where Mr Delaney gave presentations to Rock Celtic, the Dundalk Schoolboys League and Sports Officer for the county Noel Redmond, Mr Delaney stopped for a few words with the Dundalk Democrat.

In the interview the Chief Executive talks candidly about Bellew Park, Sandy Lane, Dundalk Schoolboys League, Roy Keane, Paris and that handball and the possibility of more international matches coming to Dundalk.
