THE Corrs are getting back together again some time in the future, according to the driving force behind the band, Jim Corr.
The eldest of the four siblings from Ard Easmuinn told The Dundalk Democrat that The Corrs are just "taking a long extended break".
"Music has been put on the back burner for the moment. We are not able to do much collectively as a band because Ca
roline has three children and Andrea's just got married," said Jim.
"We all love music and we love performing so I'm sure that some time in the future when the time is right The Corrs will get back together again."
The siblings briefly re-united to perform on stage at Andrea Corr's wedding reception which was held in a specially erected luxury marquee at the exclusive Doonbeg Golf Club in Co Clare.
Andrea married wealthy stockbroker Brett Desmond, son of billionaire Dermot Desmond on Friday, August 21.
Meanwhile Sharon Corr is back in the studio, writing and recording after taking a few years out.
Sharon appeared on the season premier of The Late Late Show on Friday last where she chatted with Ryan Tubridy and played her new single 'It's Not a Dream'.
The song has been released on iTunes in Ireland and The UK and is flying up the charts, entering the top 50.
