A DUNDALK man has set up a website for Catholics who want to officially leave the religion following horrific findings on child abuse in the Ryan Report.
Cormac Flynn, a 29-year-old web designer from Faughart, created Countmeout.ie with two other lapsed Catholics who were shocked by the child abuse scandals in religious institutions.

"A friend of mine set up a similar website in France a few months before the Ryan Report came out. It stuck in my head and when the report was published I decided to set one up for Irish Catholics," said Cormac.

"We've had lots of positive emails and messages from people in support of the website. It's a great tool for people who are questioning their relationship with the church."
